.The TIP101G Transistor is a PNP, silicon, epitaxial planar transistor commonly used for switching and amplifier applications. It may also be used for digital signals, gate drive, and low-noise, low-power amplification. The TIP101G is also known as a single bipolar junction transistor (BJT), a type of transistor engineered to be used in electrical systems that require power switching and of moderate gain.
The TIP101G, which is an exact equivalent to the TIP101, has an integrated strain relief that helps protect the device element against strain due to the heat induced by soldering.
