The TIP122-BP is an NPN power transistor used in various electronic applications. This switching action of the TIP122-BP is regulated by the amount of current flowing through the collector-emitter junction, which amplifies the signal output at the collector. Ultimately, the current output of the TIP122-BP is determined by the total collector current multiplied by the current gain of the transistor.
