The TNY266G is an AC-DC converter module with an integrated offline switcher. It is a high performance synchronous MOSFET regulator which provides a cost-effective and low power solution for general purpose and home appliance applications. The TNY266G is designed to provide the highest power efficiency in off-line power supplies, with a maximum efficiency of 96%. It also provides good EMI performance and a very low standby power consumption.

The TNY266G utilizes a peak current mode control architecture and can achieve better transient response and load regulation compared with conventional switchers and offline converters. It provides a maximum switching frequency of 150kHz, up to 2A output current, an adjustable output voltage from 8V to 36V, and a standby power consumption as low as 67mW.

It also has an internal compensation network which avoids quickly changing the ramp voltage when the output voltage changes. This ensures a smooth and quiet transition of the output voltage.
