It provides overvoltage and over temperature protection for the battery and its temperature regulation for the charging system. An internal Adaptive Pre-Charge Protection (APCP) is used to limit the Pre-charge current to 2.5mA to protect host system from inrush current during start-up. The main application fields for the TSM1012AID include Portable Devices, GPS, Wearables, and Handhelds. In Portable Devices, it can be used in smartphones, tablets, and other portable electronic devices.
