The DMP6023LFG-7 is a single N-channel a-Si TFT Technology Enhancement Mode Vertical DMOS device. This device offers reliable operation in automotive temperature range and is suitable for a wide range of applications including portable devices. It features a wide drain current handling capability and high peak drain currents. It also provides a very low gate threshold voltage and an unmatched combination of RDS(ON) and VGS(th) parameters over the specified temperature range.

Working Principle

DMP6023LFG-7 is an Enhancement Mode Vertical DMOS FET. It has a negative gate voltage decrease its drain-source resistance R (DS). Its structure consists of a vertical DMOS electric field, anodically-defined vertical drift channel and integrated vertical channels. When the voltage applied to the gate G is lower than the threshold voltage, no current flows through the device. When the voltage applied to the gate G is more than the threshold voltage, current starts to flow through the device.

The structure of the device makes it possible to have a very low on-state resistance and high current capacity at the same time. The device offers excellent switching performances (rise time and fall time), improved EMI performance, and low gate charge released along with extremely low drain-source on-state resistance (R DS(on)). This device is suitable for various switching and protection applications, especially in high-current areas of automotive/electronics.
