Working Principle of KSD1621UTF
- When a voltage is applied to the base of the transistor, the filled electron shell of it increases. This results in the electrons in the base layer being drawn to the base region and hence, the conduction of current is increased.
- The collector collects the current from the base and it can be used for various applications such as amplifiers or small motor drivers.
- The collector-base junction is normally reverse biased, so that current does not flow from collector to base.
- The emitter of the transistor releases the electrons from the base and makes the current flow from collector to emitter.
- In the absence of a base current, the collector-emitter current will be zero.
