Introduction The N25Q064A11ESECFE is a 64Mbit (8M by 8 bit) serial NAND Flash memory device that features SPI protocol support for Serial Peripheral Interface operation and a VCC supply voltage range from 1.65V to 1.95V. It is used in low-volatility memory applications and is ideal for applications that require high-density memory.Application FieldsThe N25Q064A11ESECFE is ideal for applications that require the serial NAND Flash interface and have high-density memory requirements, such as networking application, general-purpose computer application, and storage devices. Specifically, it is used in automotive infotainment systems, GPS and navigation systems, audio and video systems, medical/industrial systems and other embedded applications.Working PrincipleThe N25Q064A11ESECFE supports the SPI protocol and uses a "read-write" interface which allows the device to send and receive data simultaneously. It is a Non-Volatile Memory device with the capability to store data even when the power is switched off. The N25Q064A11ESECFE is able to achieve a maximum operating frequency of 80MHz, and supports Quad SPI, Double Transfer Rate (DTR) and Non-Volatile Memory (NVM) functions.The N25Q064A11ESECFE uses a self-timed write cycle which ensures that data is written properly and completely. It also features an automatic error-correction feature that corrects up to 8-bits of data error per 64-bit bus width. This ensures that the data stored in the device is free of errors and can be accessed quickly and reliably.In addition, the N25Q064A11ESECFE is designed for use in harsh environments and it is capable of operating in temperatures ranging from -40C to +85C.
