R6015KNX

The R6015KNX is an ultra-precise voltage and current monitor which functions by switching off an output when the input voltage or current exceeds a programmed threshold value. This monitor is therefore ideal for situations where potential or steady state over or under voltage or current protection is necessary, such as within power amplifying systems or related industrial applications. This device includes a pre-programmed fault-tolerance capability which will limit output load in the event of a pre-programmed fault, such as an over-voltage or over-current situation.

The R6015KNX relies upon MOSFET technology to trigger a switch whenever the input voltage or current exceeds, or drops below, a preset threshold. In doing so, the current or voltage being applied to the output of the device is cut, thereby protecting the downstream equipment from potential over-voltage, over-current, and under-voltage situations. The R6015KNX also features a timeout function which will prevent the device from cutting power to the output for longer than a preset amount of time. If the fault is not corrected within this timeframe, the device will resume normal operation.
