The TIP31C is a three-terminal NPN silicon planar epitaxial power transistor. It is designed for general purpose use and is used for audio amplification and switching applications. The TIP31C belongs to the category of single bipolar junction transistors (BJT). It is a type of BJT transistor composed of three terminals, namely base, collector and emitter.
