The TNY288DG-TL IC of the AC DC Converter/Offline Switcher PMIC family is based on a synchronous PWM buck converter controlling a power MOSFET. It includes input voltage protection and power system monitoring, such as over-voltage, under-voltage, over-temperature and over-current protection. The TNY288DG-TL IC also features soft-start, adjustable user-defined hysteresis and configurable frequency switching.The IC operates in an open loop design and controls the output voltage through integrated Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM). The TNY288DG-TL integrates two high-side power mosfet circuits that operate with a frequency of up to 600 kHz, and has a wide input voltage range. Its internal architecture also allows it to enter into a low-power sleep mode, and it supports ultra-fast ramp up/down. The current-mode control provides excellent line and load regulation, extending the overall system efficiency.The TNY288DG-TL is highly integrated, easy to use and provides excellent reliability. Its active voltage positioning and adaptive frequency control allow designers to optimize the performance of their application.
