The 2N4402TA is a single NPN small signal plastic surface mount transistor with a low current from a single transistor to meet the latest requirements of large-scale integrated circuits. It has a wide variety of applications, like oscillators, RF amplifiers, active filters, audio pre-amplifiers, television applications and for photo detectors. It is suitable for consumer applications, automotive and industrial applications also.

The 2N4402TA transistor is an NPN type semiconductor device with a typical collector current ( Ic ) of 4mA. It has a Voltage Collector ( VCEO ) of 30 Volts. It is used in a variety of low-power applications because of its low collector-emitter saturation voltage. This device is easy to assemble and mount into a printed circuit board, due to its single-ended termination. The 2N4402TA features a wide range of features, such as high gain bandwidth product, high breakdown voltage, fast switching speed and low input capacitance.

The 2N4402TA is a bipolar silicon transistor designed for use in low-power applications, like VHF amplifiers, RF amplifiers, Active filters, Audio amplifiers and Motor Control. The 2N4402TA is an epitaxial collector type device with gain coefficients greater than the ones expected for a conventional junction transistor. Its operating temperature range is -65°C to 125°C, it is suitable for exigent applications.

The working principle of the 2N4402TA consists of two distinct electrodes, the base and the collector connected to the central terminal. The base is connected to the source and delivers a current that flows from the collector to the emitter. This current is dependent on the voltage difference between the base and the emitter, and the size of the base-collector junction. This current flow is controlled by the base current which is supplied by the emitter and serves as the input voltage. The collector-emitter voltage is regulated by adjusting the voltage difference between the base and emitter, producing a flow of electrons or holes in the emitter. This movement produces a continuous current in the collector circuit, this current is regulated by controlling the base current.
