The AO4822AL is a logic level FET Array consisting of four N-channel MOSFETs specifically designed to simplify board layout and reduce parts count while at the same time taking advantage of the fast switching times and low on-resistance available with Power MOSFETs. Because these devices integrate the necessary gate protection and drive components onto one chip, they can provide the same level of precision and reliability as power MOSFETs without the complexity or expense associated with an external gate drive circuit.

The AO4822AL can be used in applications that require a high level of voltage or current control such as high current power supplies, AC phase control and motor drives. These devices feature an internal drain-to-source diode, allowing them to be paralleled in half-bridge configurations to provide high-current output capability. The array also offers the advantage of low power dissipation due to its internal high-speed gate drive circuit and the fact that it is a logic level device, meaning that it has low input current requirements.
