AON6596 is an advanced power MOSFET (metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor) with improved Low-Voltage (LV) and Low-Current (LC) performances. Its gate-source voltage (V GS ) is lower than traditional MOSFETs, and its maximum drain-source voltage (V DS ) is higher. Due to its improved low-voltage performance, AON6596 can operate at V DS up to -25V, as opposed to the -20V of other MOSFETs in its class.AON6596 also has an integrated diode, eliminating the need for an external diode in low-voltage applications. This integrated diode reduces the complexity of the switching circuit, thus reducing cost, size, and weight.The working principle of AON6596 is similar to other MOSFETs. It is a three-terminal device with a source and a drain, and a gate which is used to control the flow of current between the drain and the source. When a positive voltage is applied to the gate, it attracts mobile electrons from the source to the drain, allowing current to flow in the channel between the source and the drain. When the gate voltage reaches a certain threshold, the device is turned on, and the current increases exponentially. When the gate voltage is decreased, the device is turned off and the current is zero. AON6596 is designed to minimize gate charge, allowing its gate voltage to be quickly switched on or off.
