.The AUIRFS4115-7TRL is a P-channel metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor. It is constructed with the industry-standard Seventh-generation MOSFET process technology, which makes it capable of providing high performance and low power consumption. This MOSFET is mainly used to switch and control current in applications ranging from low-voltage analog and digital designs to high-voltage power conversion circuits. This device also possesses high switching speed, low on-resistance, small gate charge and reverse body diode for enhanced circuit flexibility.
The AUIRFS4115-7TRL consists of five terminals: drain, gate, source, body and case. The drain and source are the two output terminals which carry the current under normal operating conditions. The gate terminal is the control voltage input, which acts as an on/off switch for the device. The body terminal acts as a diode and helps in reverse polarity protection. The case terminal is not connected to any of the other four terminals and is used to provide electrical isolation.
The AUIRFS4115-7TRL is primarily used in low-voltage logic circuits, high-voltage power conversion circuits, mobile power management, audio amplifiers and optical switch networks. In low-voltage logic circuits, the device can be used to switch between logic levels at a very fast speed. For high-voltage power conversion, the device can provide switching between different power supplies and output voltages.
