The FDC6901L is a monolithic Integrated Circuit which can be used in Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMIC) fields such as Power Distribution Switches, Load Drivers, etc. It is designed to help reduce system footprint and minimize external parts count as well as provide a cost-effective and reliable solution. The FDC6901L is packaged in a mOL package and housed in an ESOP-8 package for easy integration into a variety of applications, including general-purpose, automotive, and industrial.
The FDC6901L is a dual-channel device featuring independent control lines, as well as two independent switches capable of driving a maximum current of 6 amps. The two independent channels each have an internal shift-register, allowing the user to control both channels using only 1 I/O signal and dramatically reducing board space. The FDC6901L contains an over-voltage protection feature which allows the user to set a minimum and maximum voltage level.
