2SD2700TL is a high-voltage, large-current, and high-performance bipolar NPN transistor. It is suitable for power amplifier, switching and high-frequency circuit applications. 2SD2700TL has simple working principle, easy to use and low cost.

2SD2700TL is a single bipolar junction transistor (BJT) and is made up of three layers of semiconductor material. These layers are P-type, N-type, and depletion layer. The BJT is made from three semiconductive layers: N-type, P-type and intrinsic layer. The 2SD2700TL is a NPN (negative-positive-negative) type device, in which electrons and holes flow in a certain way. When the base voltage increases, a current flows through the base-emitter junction and the collector-emitter junction, causing the base current controlling the collector current.

The main function of the 2SD2700TL is to act as a switch that can control the flow of current of the collector. When a voltage is applied to the base, this voltage will control the base current.
