PMIC (power management integrated circuit) is an integrated circuit (IC), which is used to manage the power in the system. Gate drivers are a subgroup of PMICs, which provide a high voltage waveform for operating the gate in switching devices such as IGBTs, MOSFETs, and thyristors. Gate drivers are usually used to control the power devices and control the on/off operations.

AUIR3200S is one of the gate drivers from Infineon Technologies.
