The MJD112T4 is a single bipolar Junction Transistor (BJT) designed for high frequency, high power applications. The device is available in TO-39, DPAK and D2PAK packages with gold or tin-lead plating. It has an designed gain bandwidth product of 2GHz, collector current of 100mA and collector-emitter breakdown voltage of 85V. It also has specially designed Gold Metalization and Laser trimming technology to reduce gate charge and improve gate/base drive.

The working principle of the MJD112T4 BJT is based on the three major components: Emitter, Base and Collector. A voltage is applied to the base of the transistor which sets up an electric field. This field attracts the current carriers (electrons) across the emitter junction. The emitter to collector current is determined by the amount of current that is attracted to the base. As the current through the collector increases, more electrons are attracted to the base. This increases the current gain of the device.

The MJD112T4 BJT can be used in a wide variety of applications that require high-frequency, high-power switching, amplifying or driving.
