:<p>The PD57045TR-E is a N-Channel Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor (MOSFET) designed specifically for applying radio frequency (RF) signals. This type of transistor is uniquely suited to provide exceptional power and gain, while also allowing for greater bandwidth than many other types of field effect transistors. Furthermore, the PD57045TR-E is designed to be employed in those RF applications which require small physical size and excellent linearity performance over a large dynamic range.</p><p>The PD57045TR-E has two primary modes of operation: depletion and enhancement. In depletion mode, the device is operated when the gate voltage is below the threshold voltage (Vt). This causes the N-Channel MOSFET to be blocked and hence not capable of conducting current. The opposite holds true for enhancement mode, where when the gate voltage is greater than the threshold voltage, the N-Channel MOSFET is enabled and can conduct current. When operated in either mode, the device can handle signals from DC to several GHz (actual frequency range depends on drain-source voltage).</p><p>The PD57045TR-E is commonly used in applications such as RF power amplifiers, RF oscillators, microwave mixers and other RF circuits. It is particularly useful when the application requires a flat gain response over a wide frequency range. Additionally, the PD57045TR-E is well suited for those circuits requiring wide bandwidth, high linearity and good return loss.
