Working Principles

The AO3403 is a bare Dual N-Channel 30V Transistor. It is a static switch which uses a Feed-back network to fix the commonly applied voltage at the Gate-Source terminal, thus allowing the NPN transistor pair to remain in a non-conductive state. By controlling the logic state at the Gate, the on-resistance of the Switch can be controlled.

The AO3403, a two N-Channel MOSFET, is a 30V FET intended for DC-Switch applications. It comprises two N-Channel MOSFETs, each being connected in between the drain and source terminals. The N-Channel MOSFETs are connected to a common source terminal, and each has a separate gate terminal. The drain terminals are connected to the power supply.

The AO3403 is also adept at providing low-side low-side drive signals. In this mode of operation, the AO3403\'s source-gate threshold voltage is lower than that of high-side drive signals.
