AON6590 is a advanced power MOSFET that provides high-efficiency, exceptionally fast switching speed and extremely low gate charge. It is designed as a small-footprint, single-chip, low-cost solution for next-generation high-frequency and high-current power electronic applications.

The AON6590 is a member of the AON (Advanced On-Package) family of products which is the first single-chip, low-cost high-efficiency MOSFET that combines the benefits of die-less designs with those of flip-chip packages. As a single die-less, flip-chip solution, the AON6590 is able to offer higher performance and smaller package size than other traditional solutions.

The AON6590 features two ultra-low capacitance MOSFETs that provide extremely fast switching speeds and high-efficiency performance. Furthermore, the low gate charge makes the AON6590 suitable for use in high frequency applications such as inverters, PFCs and PrIDs where switching speeds and efficiency are paramount. Additionally, the AON6590 has a current rating of up to 60A and a maximum junction temperature of 175°C.

The working principle of the AON6590 power MOSFET can be summed up in a few words. The two ultra-low capacitance MOSFETs that compose the AON6590 switch on or off electricity between its drains and sources, allowing the product to regulate voltage and current. When electricity is switched on, the gate charge is provided and the voltage across the source and drain terminals rise, thus allowing current to flow. Conversely, when electricity is switched off, the gate charge is taken and the voltage across the source and drain terminals fall, thus creating a break in the current. In addition to being extremely efficient, the AON6590 power MOSFET is also capable of switching at very high speeds due to the low gate charge and the small package size.
