The CPH6341-TL-E is a single, Enhancement-mode MOSFET (Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor) used for switching applications. The device is able to source or sink up to 2.5A of continuous current with a maximum voltage of 20V. It is also capable of handling transient currents of up to 3A with a maximum peak voltage of 40V.

By controlling the gate voltage, the device can be toggled between its \'on\' and \'off\' states, ie, by adjusting the voltage applied to the gate, the amount of current flowing through the channel, and hence the state of the MOSFET, can be changed.
