Working Principle

The NSVBAS21TMR6T1G is composed of a pair of diodes arranged in an array, connected in series and typically rated at 6A it is a fast, low forward voltage drop device. In essence, the device works by allowing current to flow in one direction only and blocking the flow of current in the reverse direction. This is due to the different electrical conductivity and characteristic between the two junctions of the diode. When the anode (positive) of the diode becomes more positive than the cathode (negative) current will then flow from the anode to the cathode but not vice versa. This is known as forward biasing the diode and when this occurs, the diode will be in the on-state and allow current to flow.
