Transistors - Bipolar (BJT) - ArraysThe STA403A is a high-speed, surface mount, multi-transistor array that provides an easy-to-use solution for high-performance, precision analog signal and switching applications. This array features 16 PNP transistors, each providing an independent control terminal, boost pin and drain pin. The STA403A array is specifically intended for use in high-frequency commercial and military communication systems, power supplies, and digital circuitry, as well as for automotive electronics such as switching power converters. The STA403A enables the system designer to easily integrate a compact array of transistors into a variety of applications that require precise signal and switching characteristics.This transistor array operates using Bipolar Junction Transistor (BJT) technology. BJTs are three-terminal devices and are current-controlled voltage sources, capable of operating at high speeds, large current gains and low leakage currents. The PNP technology of the STA403A is specifically designed to address the large-signal requirements of a wide variety of commercial and military communication applications. The STA403A is a multi-transistor array made up of 16 PNP transistors that are serial-connected, with each having its own independent control terminal, boost pin, and drain pin.The STA403A is designed to provide precise signal and switching characteristics. The transistors can be used to build differential and cascode amplifiers, linear and switching power supplies, and filter networks. In addition, the transistors can be used as voltage amplifiers, current sources, switches and rectifiers. Each transistor has its own independent control, boost, and drain pins, and the precise signal and switching characteristics attained by the array make it highly suited for pulse-width modulation and pulse-amplitude modulation.The STA403A transistor array is a high-speed, high-performance array that delivers extreme reliability and flexibility. The STA403A is capable of dissipating up to 420 mW of power and can operate with a wide range of supply voltages, ranging from 5 V to 15 V.
