PTFB-2500-JCD

The PTFB-2500-JCD is a state-of-the-art symmetrical switch mode power supply designed for use in a wide variety of industrial, commercial, and entertainment applications. This output is then filtered by the EMI/RFI filter before being sent to the power supply topology.The PTFB-2500-JCD uses a unique switch mode power supply topology known as a Neutral Point Clamp (NPC). This topology provides a stable output voltage that is free from voltage drops, as well as reduced risk of high inrush current. The NPC topology essentially splits the load into two halves and then supplies them with the same voltage, thereby keeping them in balance. This not only allows for a greater efficiency, but also reduces output ripple and total harmonic distortion.The PTFB-2500-JCD also provides protection against various types of faults and overloads. For instance, the device is equipped with an over-temperature protection circuit that will shut down the power supply if the device gets too hot.
