Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors
An aluminum electrolytic capacitor, or an electrolytic capacitor, is an electrical component used to reduce ac ripple current, filter electrical noise or store electricity. It is made up of two aluminum foils (anode and cathode), each foil separated by a paper layer. The spacer between the anode and the cathode is impregnated with a conductive electrolyte.
