UNR221600L is a pre-biased, single-bipolar (BJT) transistor. It is a NPN transtor, which is capable of both high power and low-power applications. The main purpose of this device is to provide a robust and fast response time in high-side switching applications.The device is constructed of a NPN base-collector structure, and can be used as either a switch or amplifier. The base-collector region of the transitor is critically doped with a high acceptor concentration, leading to low capacitance between the two regions. This allows for high switching frequencies and relatively low distortion in the amplifier applications.When used in high power applications, the power capacity of UNR221600L is determined by its ability to provide both leakage current and saturation current capabilities.
