• Triode Region - This region (Ugs < Vt) is where the drain current decreases with the increase in drain voltage, however it’s also the region where the drain-source voltage must be set to ensure satisfactory performance.
• Off Region - There is no significant channel between the source and the drain, and thus no current can flow.
