The working principle of IRF7325TR is essentially a current conduction by holes from source to drain through a channel. This channel is controlled by a gate voltage. The principle is same for both types of transistors, FET and MOSFET. When the gate voltage is more negative than the source, the channel is completely pinched off and there is only a very small current from source to drain. When the gate voltage is turned positive and it is more positive than the source voltage, the positive gate repels the electrons and forms a conducting channel between source and drain. The current moves in the form of holes from source to drain.
