JAN2N918 is a single NPN bipolar junction transistor (BJT) device, widely used in various applications. It works on the principle of bipolar junction transistors, i.e. current-voltage (I-V) characteristics, in order to provide effective switching and control of current flow.
Structure
JAN2N918 contains 4 terminals. The three primary ones are the base, collector and emitter. It has a PN junction made of two pieces of N-type semiconductor materials.
