• The PFC switching operation is valley-switched, inducing noise in a minimum duty cycle operation and eliminating the need for minimum current mode operation.
• The R6020235ESYA utilizes a valley control signal to control the valley transistors and sense the valley current, enabling an optimized and well regulated power factor.
• Due to the valley-switched operation and advanced valley current sensing and peak current mode control, the power factor sensing node remains free and ready for additional peak current mode control.
• With the additional peak current mode control, the system performance can be improved considerably while providing adjustable load line compensation.
• The R6020235ESYA features adaptive frequency modulation and a built-in soft start, making it suitable for a large variety of applications.
