The IRFZ44R is a high power Field Effect Transistor (FET) of type N-channel enhancement-mode, also known as non-depletion or normally-on mode FET. It is usually used as a switch for DC voltage applications.

IRFZ44R is designed to use less power and current than bipolar transistors, which makes them more suited for modern power applications. It is also a very stable device and can be used in a wide range of applications, including digital and analog circuits.

The IRFZ44R FET consists of a source, drain and gate terminals. When the voltage applied to the gate terminal is high, the FET is in an ON state, allowing current to flow from the source to the drain.
