The IXTA80N075L2 is a MOSFET (metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor) which is single in design and especially made for voltage applications. IXTA80N075L2 is mainly used for applications requiring higher levels of current than other power MOSFETs. On the other hand, the depletion mode will correspond to the negative gate voltage applied at the gate block which in turn will cause the depletion of charge carriers from the channel and eventually turning it OFF.
The IXTA80N075L2 is used for a variety of applications such as motor control, DC-DC converters, AC inverters, and power switching circuits.
