The 2SK2420 is an N-channel field effect transistor (FET) of the depletable-type MOS structure. As a form of semiconductor device, a FET is able to control large power than that of a bipolar junction transistor and to operate at much higher frequencies. As a highly functionally developed device, the 2SK2420 has become increasingly popular in various application fields as a result of its reliability and low price/performance ratio.

Application Fields

The 2SK2420 is primarily used for power amplification and switching in a wide range of circuits. Some of the more common applications of this type of FET include radio frequency (RF) amplifiers, analog and switching circuits, audio amplifiers, high-power switches and relays, hybrid controllers, logic drivers and control circuits.

Working Principle
