The TSM2311CX RFG is a field–effect transistor designed to specifically improve the motor control and scalable power management systems of the latest motor control technology. The TSM2311CX RFG is a advanced, low driver transistor device, particularly designed for motor controller applications. The TSM2311CX RFG is a non-polarized P-Channel MOSFET. The transistor consists of two distinct terminals; the Source and Drain. The Source terminal is connected to the positive supply voltage and the Drain is connected to the negative supply voltage. The gate of the MOSFET is connected to the input signal and is used to control the flow of current from the Source to the Drain. The transistor is normally in the OFF state, where the gate voltage is lower than the Source voltage, which prevents current from flowing. The current flow can be increased by increasing the gate voltage, thus turning on the transistor.
The TSM2311CX RFG actually consists of three terminals, namely, the Source, Drain and Gate. The drain is connected to the motor’s ground and the source is connected to the motor’s positive line. Since the drain voltage is always connected at the motor’s ground, then the current through the transistor is always positive. The Gate terminal is connected to the motor’s position sensing circuit in order to control the motor’s speed. When the position sensing circuit detects that the motor’s desired position is met, the voltage at the gate terminal will rise, as well as the voltage at the drain terminal, activating the transistor.
The TSM2311CX RFG is a versatile transistor device used in the motor control systems and can be used in various applications such as in power supplies, amplifiers, timers, data acquisition systems, and many more. Its advanced P-Channel MOSFET design enables it to provide better protection to other components in the motor control system, while also providing better performance.
