The IRF740LCPBF is a P Channel Field-effect transistor (MOSFET) from International Rectifier (IR). It is a monolithic, single-circuit, field-effect transistor that is designed for low- Capacitance, high-density gate-oxide applications such as power management and protection. The IRF740LCPBF is an enhanced mode, N-channel MOSFET with an axial leaded metal-semiconductor package. It is a low-capacitance device with low threshold voltage, thus making it ideal for high-speed, low-power applications.

The IRF740LCPBF can be used in a variety of applications such as load switches, battery chargers, displays and controllers. It is also suitable for use in power management, protection and process equipment. Its low gate charge and low input capacitance makes it an excellent choice for driving high power MOSFETs in switching power supplies, motor control and other DC to DC conversion applications.
