The IRF7470TRPBF is a single N-channel Power MOSFET which boasts improved performance and excellent power handling capabilities. It is a wide-gate-width MOSFET and can handle up to 75W at room temperature. This MOSFET is perfect for those applications which require very high current and fast switching.
The IRF7470TRPBF has a P-Channel (p-type) and an N-Channel (n-type) which are positioned within the same semiconductor chip. The P-Channel is used to conduct current while the N-Channel is used as an improved version of the classic bipolar transistor. This MOSFET is also capable of providing exceptional power dissipation and is rated at 10V – 100V.
Although the IRF7470TRPBF has a wide gate-width, it is still quite a small component. It is approximately 6mm by 7mm in size and this means it can be installed in tight spaces. This MOSFET also offers low turn-on and a fast turn-off rate.
