NTTFS4C55NTWG is an N- and P-channel, switch-mode power field-effect transistor (FET) of the plastic mold construction 50 V - 500 V, 4.5 A (RDS (on) = 0.8W), 1.5 ohm transistor FET family.The N-channel mode of NTTFS4C55NTWG is intended for power switching applications such as the control of motors, solenoids, and lamps, while the P-channel mode is intended for the control of load switches. The superior gain bandwidth allows for high efficiency switch mode control of motors and solenoids.Most FETs are a type of transistor that uses a current-induced field in the gate (between the drain and the source) to control the resistance or impedance between the drain and the source, thus allowing for a variety of applications. They are available in through-hole and surface mount packages.The N- and P-channel version of the NTTFS4C55NTWG provide for fast switching control with low on-resistance.
