IPRL8103VTRRPBF is an advanced low-RDS(ON), highly reliable power MOSFET with a punch-through cell structure. This device utilizes a vertical DMOSFET structure with high cell density that enables it to offer a very low on-resistance value. The device is well suited for high-side load switching such as power supply sequencing, power distribution and high-side switch applications.The IRLR8103VTRRPBF uses the vertical DMOSFET structure to provide superior performance and a superior thermal performance-cost ratio. This device has an extended maximum drain-source voltage (VDS) rating up to 10 V and a maximum drain-current rating up to 20 A. Combined with its low on-resistance and high current carrying capability, the IRLR8103VTRRPBF provides an excellent solution for applications that require both high wattage and low total current.The IRLR8103VTRRPBF is constructed using a vertical DMOSFET process, which allows the device to operate at higher frequencies than other MOSFETs. This allows the device to switch faster and more efficiently than similarly-sized, lower-performance FETs. Additionally, the punch-through cell structure allows the device to offer a low gate-source capacitance.In addition to its superior switching performance and low resistance, the IRLR8103VTRRPBF is also characterized by excellent thermal performance.
