FQA160N08 is a N-channel Enhancement Mode Field-Effect Transistor (FET) that operates in the vertical DMOS structure. It has a lower gate threshold voltage, higher transconductance, wider range of linear operation, lower Leakage Current, and higher thermal resistance than conventional power FETs. In addition, it features reverse blocking for medium current applications and low on-state resistance for high-side drivers.

The FQA160N08 device is an ideal choice for switching applications requiring high blocking strength and low conduction losses, such as high voltage power conversion, motor control, and other high performance applications. It is especially suitable for automotive applications.

The FQA160N08 consists of a Gate (G) field-effect transistor, which is a bipolar junction transistor (BJT) with a built-in layer of gate dielectric between the base and collector.
