HUFA76423D3S is a single N-channel enhancement-mode MOSFET that operates from a -40V to +200V drain source voltage range. With very low “on-state” resistance, this MOSFET is specially designed for use in low voltage, high current and high efficiency applications, such as power supply circuits, audio power amplifiers and switching regulators. This MOSFET also has excellent switching speeds and very low gate-to-source capacitance. In addition, the HUFA76423D3S has low reverse transfer capacitance at its drain-to-source terminals.
The working principle of HUFA76423D3S is quite simple. Basically, the MOSFET operates by creating an electric field between its source and drain. When a voltage is applied to the gate of the MOSFET, a current starts flowing between its source and drain. This current is controlled by the voltage applied to the gate. As the voltage applied to the gate increases, the electric field created between the source and drain becomes stronger and the current flowing through them increases. Conversely, if the gate voltage is reduced, the electric field created between the source and drain decreases and the current flowing through them decreases.
The HUFA76423D3S MOSFET is mainly used in low to medium power applications because of its low “on-state” resistance. It can be used as a driver for relay coil, as a DC-DC converter, as a voltage regulator, as a reduced power switch, in power supply circuits and many other related applications.
