The IXFT50N20 is a Single, N-Channel, HEXFET power field-effect transistor from Infineon Technologies. The transistor is ideal for use in a broad range of switch-mode power supplies and motor control applications. With its low gate charge, fast switching speeds and low on-resistance, this advanced power MOSFET ensures low losses and thermal dissipation, contributing to increased efficiency and excellent load regulation.

The device is capable of handling current levels up to 95A and voltage levels up to 550V As compared to other transistors, the IXFT50N20 offers a lower threshold voltage and outstanding charge-carrier mobility. They feature low gate charge (20nC maximum) and low total gate charge (93nC maximum).

The IXFT50N20 offers excellent EMI (electromagnetic interference) benefits and excellent tolerance to surge current. They also have high speed switching capability and fast-drain recovery time for improved efficiency in applications. The transistor is available in a surface mount D-Pak/TO-220 package.
