The SUM110P04-04L-E3 is a Single N-channel Enhancement Mode Mosfet which belongs to a new generation of Mosfet transistors in the power MOSFET field. It features simple and very easy structure, fast switching, low temperature drift, and low on-resistance. This Mosfet provides a simpler and more efficient way for controlling power devices ranging from low power audio to high power motor drivers, light dimmers and power switching amplifiers. It is also used in digital switching and circuitry that requires effective and reliable analog and digital functionality.

The SUM110P04-04L-E3 has two terminals for the source and drain, plus the gate terminal, and these three terminals provide the control of the flow of electrons between the source and drain. The working principle of this Mosfet is as follows: when the voltage applied to the gate is higher than the threshold voltage written in the Mosfet’s datasheet, the Mosfet will open and allow a current to flow from the source to the drain. If the gate voltage is equal or lower than the threshold voltage, the current flow between the source and the drain is blocked. This action is called the enhancement-mode.

The SUM110P04-04L-E3 is used in a wide array of applications such as power amplifiers, motor control, electronic lamps, lamps or light dimmers, three-phase AC motor drives, switching regulators and many other power switching applications.
