DMN10H220L-7

The DMN10H220L-7 is a type of Field-Effect Transistor (FET) that can amplify or switch electronic signals. FETs are unipolar devices which operate by controlling the movement of charge carriers, namely electrons or holes that are the majority carriers. This FET is a Single-Gate MOSFET, which consists of one metal oxide semiconductor layer that is sandwiched between two metal layers (Source and Drain contacts) and the FET\'s wide semiconductor substrate.

The DMN10H220L-7 has several applications. It is commonly used to minimize power losses and as a load switch for DCDC converters, as well as for EMI reduction and power factor correction. When the gate is charged and a small current passes through it, the electric field created by the gate switches the FET on and current can flow from the source to drain. When the gate current is reduced or stopped, the electric field is removed, and the FET is switched off.
