MUN5332DW1T1G is an NPN Array Pre-Biased transistor with three NPN transistor stages and single-ended Darlington Inputs. This type of Pre-Biased transistors are used for very high voltage switching, line drivers and power transistors for controlling inductive, resistive and capacitive loads. The Pre-Biased transistor is constructed using three NPN transistors connected in a Darlington configuration. The single-ended Darlington Inputs allows for a highest current gain ratio while maintaining low integrated capacitance.

Working Principle

The operating principle of the MUN5332DW1T1G transistor is based upon the single-ended Darlington configuration. The Darlington configuration consists of two parallel base-emitter junctions that are connected within one single collector-emitter junction. The first base-emitter junction has a forward bias which permits current to start flowing through the Darlington. The second base-emitter junction has a reverse bias which forces the current from the first transistor to flow into the second.
