TSM180N03CS RLG is a type of field-effect transistor (FET) manufactured by Texas Instruments. It is an enhancement mode N-channel metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOSFET) with a 300 mΩ maximum on-resistance. This FET is rated for drain-source voltage up to 66 V, and the drain current is limited to 11 A. The FET has a standby threshold voltage of 1.8 V with a gate-source voltage of ±20 V.FETs are three terminal devices that are used to control the flow of current. The FET has the advantage of being able to be operated without an intrusive physical connection, as the gate (control) terminal is insulated from the other terminals. As such, FETs are an attractive choice for a multitude of applications.A RLG is an acronym for “reverse-biased junction isolated gate.” The TSM180N03CS RLG is a device that uses this type of structure.
