 The IXTP76N075T is a high power metal oxide semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET) designed by Vishay Siliconix with parasitic bipolar elements on a single chip. It is designed to operate at frequencies up to 300 MHz, and is suitable for telecom, data communication and RF high power applications such as power amplifiers and switching applications. The necessity of having to use several discrete components to build an efficient device limits the design complexity of the circuit. The IXTP76N075T has been designed to provide designers with a single-component option that can perform the same functions as several discrete components.

The IXTP76N075T is an n-channel enhancement mode MOSFET. It has an E_SAT of up to 1.79A, a gd_max of up to 1.5A/V, and an R_ds(on) of up to 75mΩ. This MOSFET is available in a TO-220AB package. Typical applications include power control, LCD power management, control circuits, switching applications, and pulse generation. The IXTP76N075T can also be used in telecom and high power RF applications such as power amplifiers and switching applications.

The IXTP76N075T operates by using an input voltage to control the output current in the circuit. It is constructed with an insulated gate that separates the drain and source regions within the transistor body. This gate acts as a gate-controlled capacitor, allowing a current to flow between the source and the drain in response to an external voltage source.
