The FDD8880 MOSFET is a fast switching and low-noise dual N-channel enhancement mode power MOSFET with a small footprint and high current carrying capacity. It is designed for a wide range of applications including power supplies, small signal amplifiers, power switching, DC-DC converters, and high frequency circuits. In general, FETs use electric fields to control the behaviour of the current flow between terminals. A MOSFET is a type of field-effect transistor (FET) which uses the electric field of a gate electrode to control the conductive channel between its source and drain. A single FDD8880 MOSFET consists of two N-type enhancement mode power MOSFETs in a dual monolithic structure.
